The Touchmods team have released version 1.0 of SIP-VoIP for the iPod Touch. There’s a video on this post from Wired. It’s very beta, but it might be the start of adding the phone in the phone-less iTouch.

A device, with a microphone, that adds VoIP to iPod Touch? VoIP iTouch = iPhone? Interesting to see if this leads anywhere.
