Everyone says ui.datepicker.js is so easy to use. Well I CAN’T get to work at all. Nowhere on the net (it seems) is there a plain start-to-finish example - step by step of how to get this stupid thing working. And I’m a little angry about it, because my employer wished it to be used on our site, and I don’t have time to learn everything that every one else seems to know about JQuery.
All I’m looking for is a simple working example of a text box that when clicked, gives me a simple datepicker. I don’t want a fancy “look-at-what-all-I can-do” example. Just a text field receiving a simple date - without it being imbedded in some app that the writer is trying to show off.
If you can show where to find such an example, I would be grateful.
@Charles - I agree 100%. In my case the theme just won’t ‘take’ and the default non-styled UI is all I see. The lack of end-to-end examples is seriously hurting.
